Some quick news of my digipeater. He’s been up and running for the last 24 hours approx. I forgot to connect the solar charger when I was testing it earlier this week and well, it ran out of power. However, I charged the batteries and they seem to have survived (they are deep cycle batteries after all).

It is showing up on APRS.fi and beacons every 20 minutes. Perhaps I should decrease the value and put it to beacon every 50 minutes or so, to save battery power.
Anyway, I’ll be rollerblading today around the city and surely keep the APRS with me. Current setup is:
- Wouxun HT
- TT4 modem
- GPS II+ or Evermore (I’m not quite sure which I’m gonna use)
